April 24th
Not been adding much lately due to a busy IRL schedule. Just a small update to add an early newbie protection system in. At the moment new players cant be attacked, shot, robbed for one hour. Also they cant attack, shoot, pickpocket or vandalize others either.
April 13th
Locking (passwording) your properties now works. To add or change a password, use the command /b_setpass <pass> (e.g. /b_setpass shoes), and /b_removepass to get rid of the lock.
April 11th
Changed the location selector menu, it looks a bit better now. If you're wondering what the greyed out lock symbols are doing next to the property names, well that's ready for the next little patch which will allow you to lock your property. Greyed out places are ones that are closed due to extreme damage.
April 8th
Added hotkeys and fixed bugs. Hopefully the 'sometimes server crashes on player kill' bug is sorted now. Also, properties that have extreme damage status can no longer be used until the owner repairs them. Remember to check out the play guide and post a bit on the forum, which are both now active..
April 3rd
Remade the user menu (attack, shoot etc) because the old one paused the game while it was open. Besides it looks better now. Also fixed some bugs and made tweaks here and there.
April 2nd
Nothing too big for today. Just added the global chat option (use with /g msg) and fixed up a few bugs here and there.
April 1st
You can now buy private planes (for $30k) to fly around to different cities with. The benefits of having your own plane mean you can transport more drugs to and from countries without the limitations of going through any customs at the public airports. You get the buy plane option when you enter a landing strip.
Couple of small additions too; a 50 unit limit on the amount of drugs you can carry, and it now tells you when your family members connect and disconnect from the server.
February 31st
I added it so you can buy drugs from dealers in streets now. The drug prices change in each city every half hour, so one way of earning money is buying them cheap and selling them to junkies when the prices raises. Each city prices are different so sometimes it's worth flying to another city to sell drugs. Note though that if you attempt to carry more than 15 units total of drugs through airport customs you will be arrested and they'll be seized. |
